Digital photography Sunset in the Baltic was created in the early autumn on the coast of the Gulf of Finland near St. Petersburg. It is not so often possible in these places to create such photographs, and the length of time for taking photographs is only 20-30 minutes. The sun has already disappeared beyond the horizon and only the rays slipping through the atmosphere of the earth illuminate the horizon line with a warm yellow-orange light. The surface of the water is colored by the reflected color of the blue sky, like a still blanket frozen between the coastal stones. The combination of very bright, warm and cool shades of the image creates a strong color contrast that attracts the attention of viewer.
