Digital photography Tree on the rocks represents the nature of the North-West region of Russia St. Petersburg's city. On the shore of the Gulf of Finland, in the small town of Sestroretsk there is the park Dubki, which appeared thanks to the Emperor of Russia Peter the Great. In the distant 1714, the Emperor Peter the Great returned from the campaign and decided to rest in a small oak grove, not far from the navigable mouth of the Sestra River. Peter was surprised, some trees reached 200-300 years of age, and they grew in absolutely wild conditions. Immediately it was decided to create a park in this place, brought fertile land and planted several thousand young oaks. The tree was supposed to be used for the construction of a navy fleet. The main accent in this composition is certainly the old oak located in the center. Although, of course, the first look of the viewer has attracted by a pile's of stones in the foreground. The stones, whitened by the bright spring sun, create the illusion that the tree grows straight from them. The shape from the shadow of the photographer in the lower left corner of the picture is compared by the author with the shape from the shadow on the top of the tree trunk and as if tells to the viewer - that it is the main element in the image. The plot is made in cold, contrasting, subdued gray-blue tones. This photo is published for the first time and does not have a print's history. Buy artist's artwork can only in hard copy in a limited edition with the author's signature.
